A bird I've wanted to catch in my lens for quite some time is the Cattle Eget, they are similar in size and appearance to the Little Egret but can be distinguished by the light brown crown the Cattle Egret has. Whenever I've caught sight of one before it was either too far away or I didn't have my camera with me, so I was really surprised to see this little flock all grouped together and huddled down in the cold and snow that had just begun to fall.
This is one of the bonus's I have to my job traveling around taking Covid tests from people, I get to see parts of Somerset I had not found before. I may have to spend a lot of time in PPE but in between I drive around a hundred miles a day and see loads of my lovely county.

Please excuse me if I don't get to comment people's images some days but I've had to return to a work life rather than become a pensioner as I had planned due cost of living and the tax man wanting a lump of my pension. I am making an effort to return to AM3 after a bit of an absence, it's really nice to see photo's from all contributors and I will try to comment when I can. If I offer criticism I do so only to help and I do not wish to cause offence. My photography tends to be from my travels, as well as my passion which is wildlife and landscape. I hope you enjoy what you see.
Thanks for your comments I'm really grateful for them and welcome constructive feedback.
