On our tours round Kent and Sussex one of the houses we visited had an exhibition of sculptures of musicians and pop stars, this was one of my favourites, John Lennon.

My weekly monochrome tell me what you think be honest I don't mind

Canon EOS 500D 1/50 second F/7.1 ISO 200 39 mm

Making an effort to return to AM3 after a bit of an absence, it's really nice to see photo's from all contributors and I will try to comment when I can. If I offer criticism I do so only to help and I do not wish to cause offence. My photography tends to be from my travels, as well as my passion which is wildlife and landscape. I hope you enjoy what you see.
Thanks for your comments I'm really grateful for them and welcome constructive feedback.

I love this one, and not just because I love John Lennon.... and I think the monochrome is perfect for it... shows off the sculpture well!

It has changed. The Beatles were my favorite band, especially John, a great musician gone too soon. A beautiful sculpture and excellent photographic work. Great shot.

Took me a moment to recognize John before the memories came back . . . imagination had a different reality back then. This is clever sculpture and your photography adds an extra depth to it.

I love it just as is. Not obvious. One must stay with it a moment and then it just keeps revealing itself which is so appropriate for such a great character whose life was full of diversity and almost a mystic soul. Love the balance of light and dark. What a great sculpture.
