Louvre, light and shade

Posted by
Doug (Burnham-on-Sea, United Kingdom) on 2 January 2012 in Architecture and Portfolio.

The sun came out not long after we got there and gave us this wonderful image of light and shade

Making an effort to return to AM3 after a bit of an absence, it's really nice to see photo's from all contributors and I will try to comment when I can. If I offer criticism I do so only to help and I do not wish to cause offence. My photography tends to be from my travels, as well as my passion which is wildlife and landscape. I hope you enjoy what you see.
Thanks for your comments I'm really grateful for them and welcome constructive feedback.

I could probably spend half a day wandering around it to snap a multitude of angels, and at night it must look spectacular.

when I was there this whole area was dug up and there was great debate about Pei's pyramid. Now most everyone loves it. Very nice photograph, it almost looks like a pre drawing before the actual construction.

So well done- I must admit I took so many photos from this spot as well, but you managed to capture less of the crowds and more of the amazing contrasting architecture.
