Some of the thousands who line the streets of the town to enjoy the procession, often braving the cold and rain for hours to cheer on all the carts and gangs. The public roads are closed for the procession so people head into wherever the carnival is on quite early to get their place to watch. People are often in place at the side of the roads an hour or so before it starts.
Just an added note: This years carnival procession in Burnham-on-Sea raised £11,298.86 for local charities

Unfortunately I don't seem to have as much time as I would like at the present to get on AM3, but I am putting shots on from time to time and will try to visit others when I can.
