Street Art

Graffiti, murals, public art, whatever people call it has been around since our ancestors painted on cave walls, it quite often makes a statement, some times it entertains, other times it provokes emotion, or can just be art for arts sake. Unfortunately as the nature of this art is more often than not temporary, apart from a few existing cave paintings they are quite often painted over, removed or simply fade away with the force of the elements. From my point of view I love it, I enjoy the free expression, the size and often just marvel at the creativity, and as a photographer I enjoy capturing it with my lens and looking at others images, in the hope of making these artists work more permanent.
